THE MACHINE LINEUP

Washers from 20 to 80 pounds

Our floor runs on high-efficiency washers in four sizes, so you match the machine to the pile instead of splitting one load across three small units. Everything spins fast and extracts hard, which means shorter drying time on the back end.

  • 20 lb ($4.75) — a normal load: shirts, jeans, everyday darks or lights. Perfect for one or two people.
  • 40 lb ($6.75) — a full hamper, a couple weeks of clothes, or a set of bed linens with room to spare.
  • 60 lb ($8.75) — family-sized. Wash the whole week at once, or a comforter plus sheets together.
  • 80 lb ($15) — the big one: multiple comforters, sleeping bags, moving-day bedding, or a full household reset.

Not sure which to grab? Our guide on what size washer you need breaks it down by load, and the big dryers are sized to match so nothing comes out damp.

PAY YOUR WAY

Card, Apple Pay, quarters, and Wash Points

Pay however you like here. Tap a card or Apple Pay right at the machine, drop in quarters — two change machines are on the wall — or pay with your reloadable loyalty card. Start a wash, add dry time, top up mid-cycle.

Every load on your loyalty card also earns Wash Points, our rewards program. The laundry you already do adds up to credit you can put back toward future washes. Reload your loyalty card once, and your payment and points ride together on every visit.

HOW IT WORKS

Using the laundromat, step by step

First time in? It is genuinely simple. Here is the whole routine:

  1. Sort and load. Separate lights from darks, then pick a washer that fits the pile — see the sizes above.
  2. Add detergent. Pour it in, close the door, and choose your temperature and cycle.
  3. Tap to pay. Card, Apple Pay, quarters, or your loyalty card at the machine — however you like.
  4. Move to a dryer. When the wash finishes, transfer to one of the large dryers and set your time.
  5. Fold and go. Use the folding tables while everything is still warm, then you are out the door.

THE SPACE

Bright, attended, and easy to park at

This is not the dim, sketchy laundromat you are picturing. The room is bright and clean, an attendant is on-site, and there is free parking right at the door so you are not hauling baskets across a lot. Free Wi-Fi keeps you productive while the machines run.

We are open 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, seven days a week, with the last wash starting at 8:00 PM. You will find us at 1021 Heiskell Ave, just off North Broadway near I-275 — easy to reach from North and Northwest Knoxville. See directions and details on our location page.

TIME & TIPS

In and out in about an hour

A typical full load runs roughly 30 minutes to wash and 30 to 40 to dry — call it an hour, start to folded. Doing several loads at once? Our larger washers let you run everything in parallel, so a whole week of laundry still wraps up in about the same window.

A few tricks to move fast:

  • Size up. One 60 lb washer beats three 20 lb loads on both time and cost.
  • Come off-peak — mid-morning and early afternoon on weekdays are the quietest.
  • Reload your loyalty card or bring quarters before you arrive so payment is quick.
  • Don't overpack the dryer; clothes tumble and dry faster with room to move.

Short on time entirely? Hand it to us with drop-off wash & fold at $2.00 per pound, ready the next day, with pickup and delivery available as an add-on.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need quarters or coins?
No — quarters work fine, but they are not required. Pay with coins, a card, Apple Pay, or your reloadable loyalty card right at the machine, and change machines are on site if you need quarters. Your loyalty card earns Wash Points toward future washes.
What are your hours?
We are open 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, seven days a week. The last wash starts at 8:00 PM, so plan to get your final load going before then.
How much does it cost to wash a load?
Self-service washers are $4.75 for 20 lb, $6.75 for 40 lb, $8.75 for 60 lb, and $15 for the 80 lb machine. Drying is paid the same way — coins, card, Apple Pay, or your loyalty card.
Which washer size should I choose?
A 20 lb washer suits one or two people, a 40 lb handles a full hamper, a 60 lb covers a family week, and the 80 lb is for comforters and big loads. When in doubt, size up to save time.
How long does a full load take?
Figure about 30 minutes to wash and 30 to 40 to dry — roughly an hour start to folded. Using our larger washers lets you run several loads at once in about the same time.
Is the laundromat attended and safe?
Yes. The space is bright, clean, and attended, with free parking right at the door and free Wi-Fi while you wait.
Where are you located?
We are at 1021 Heiskell Ave, Knoxville, TN 37921, in Northwest Knoxville near North Broadway and I-275. Free parking is available at the door.
Can I wash comforters and other bulky items?
Absolutely. Our 60 lb and 80 lb washers handle comforters, sleeping bags, and pet beds. If you would rather drop them off, large and bulky items are $15 each through wash & fold.
